Went to a few bike shops.

How the hell do bike shops not have their fall gear yet? It's already October!

Today I've had the most obnoxious morning ever at work, but we're getting free pizza for lunch and I have plans to get drunk with internet friends this evening. So I'm still hopeful this day will turn around. Doesn't help that I didn't ride to work on such a glorious day, but last time I hung out with these internet friends we ended up bar hopping til 4am and trying to find minivan cabs to stick my bike in was annoying. (These friends don't ride and I was too drunk to ride solo.)

It's raining so I decided not to ride to class because I'd get soaked. It took 20 minutes to drive 2? miles, so I turned around for home. I dont understand why drivers in this city freak the **** out when it rains

I'm driving to work for the first time in 3 weeks. I don't want to get soaked riding to work, just to be cold and wet all day.

I don't like prolly, but are there any fixed gear blogs that are really that great? In the end you have to promote all sorts of products, and your website becomes a huge ad page with infrequent editorial by the "blogger."

Today I got to drive my wife's car for the first time to work after delivering her to the airport in the morning; gotta give it to audi for engineering such a car that packages both sport and luxury into a fun package. Abnormally empty strip of socal highway + only one at meter light = redline launch.
All this fun was bittersweet when I went to the pump on the way; 14/22mpg and premium only FTL.

Prius's are cheap when put in comparison with modern cars that have a low mpg... ironically... said audi cost the price of two of them. =/
