Put on some short shorts. You know you have the legs to win races, time to constantly remind you, and the rest of the world you're a racer.

I'm gonna shave them tonight...to boost my confidence :)

Unless of course our definitions of forward and backwards are reversed. I always assumed that cogs were supposed to go logo/flange side out, as that's what worked on my old wheels.

They most certainly are. Mostly yours.

yes almost every one of them has the iminusd $400 "mix and match" special offer bike

Today I dismantled my road bike that I got into an accident on with one arm. Seeing it hang there on the wall was making me even more depressed about being broken and not being able to ride.

Today i picked up a 21.1 mm stem @ Harris Cyclery for the OPC fork i'm using on my tall bike.I'll be riding high this weekend:love:

avner 05-20-11 06:35 PM

Right now I'm throwing a bunch of clothing in the laundry, including my beloved SWRVE pants, trying to figure out what to ride in- if anything at all.

All you need is a sock my friend! also, maybe some shoes, I hate pedaling shoeless!

hairnet 05-20-11 07:58 PM

I know how you feel. My SWRVE pants need to be washed and riding in regular pants the last couple days has been painful

max5480 05-20-11 08:57 PM

dude, you don't have to wash swrve pants because they are rubber. actually you don't have to wash any pants. levis recommends never washing their jeans.

Today I registered for the forums after lurking and researching for the past month+. I also just hit the 90 mile mark on my first fixed gear bike that I got on Monday. I love riding this thing!

stovb 05-20-11 09:16 PM

I found a SCHWEEEEEEEET white SIGG water bottle in the trash heap of stuff that silly people on my floor are throwing out, theres no paint chips on it and all I think I need to do is get a new cap for it since the old one has some questionable residue built up on it, but otherwise it cleaned out nice.

Leukybear 05-21-11 01:48 AM

I just found the 3 boxes/ flavors of seasonal flavored clif bars I had safely stashed away from the holidays. B'gosh 36 bars here.... added to 124 I bought the other day. Hehehe iced gingerbread, spiced pumpkin pie, and cranberry orange nut bread in the summer :D

Finally got around to rebuilding the lady's townie... and will have to tear it all down so I can re-finish it in a lovely shade of sage green for her.

I like to make sure all the mechanical stuff is 110% and do some ride testing before I refinish a frame.

Even as it stands it is a very pretty bike with a bunch of NOS Sachs / Huret drive parts and a Huret Jubilee front derailleur which is a little gem.

Some jackass today came in with a nice Raleigh frame and he wanted to chop the down tube bosses off. The co-op usually doesn't allow butchering to happen but the more senior staff was on break.

Long story short, almost everyone in the shop gave him the stinkiest stink eye evar.

I do understand that it is his frame and he may do whatever to it but it was still really hard to watch.

Today out on the party ride me and two friends broke a fence...and I have a huge bruise on my left ass cheek.

Haha...I just haven't been using the computer much lately, too occupied with bikes and the beautiful weather here in Vancouver.
