Supposedly the left rear light on my car is out and the nearest dealer is 25 miles away.... This calls for a ride! :D
Only problem is no company makes racks for it for some odd reason and I'll have to find a way to fit my roadie in the rear seats without tearing up the interior. Sounds easy? I have my work set out considering it's a two door, low, and the interior used to go moo.

Today one of the atty's at my work asked me to go to the deli to get him a sandwich and a drink. WTF!?! That's not my effin job dude, do it yourself.( I said that in my head of course) I couldn't spit in his sandwich so I took his drink and rubbed it all over my balls. How does that taste, *****.

That guy is a dick by the way, had he been cooler, I would've been okay with it

i was out doing a test ride on my diamondback at 3-4am last night and even the streets of downtown sj were deserted :D

Sounds like that applies to bikes, too!

Retail.
Soul-sucking, morale-crushing retail.

I took the job to pay rent during college.
Now that college is over and I have enough saved in my reserve fund to pay rent/expenses for the remainder of my lease, I have no reason to stay.

Today I went and suffered through a very hot day at the pumptrack.

xavier853 05-26-11 07:09 PM

Today, I am sick. Seems to be just a lot of sinus and headaches.

Hopefully I can knock this out for the first real rain free weekend (and upcoming week).

Wait till July. 110 on the line with pants and a chef coat for 8 hours drains the life out of you.

I found a San Marco Ponza in a clearance bin at a bike shop without a tag on it. I asked the guy at the desk how much and he said $15. This was one of those situations when I just went: SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY

Watch the saddle rails on the ponza, I had two rails come loose on me.

Hothead286 05-26-11 10:09 PM

Noted. Thanks for the heads up.

This is seriously so much more environmentally friendly.

I don't know about that. In B.C. the milk came in plastic jugs that are recyclable, but here you end up with 4 plastic bags that go into the trash.

frantik 05-27-11 04:37 AM

why dont you recycle the bags?

Wait until you sit on it. You'll most likely go back and pay the guy 15 bucks to take it back.

Ask the county waste management people, I don't know why they won't accept them in the collection.

Get well soon 65er!

yummygooey 05-28-11 07:36 PM

Put on some egg beaters on the TET and fell over.

Put some decent pedals on the Motobecane so I can ride it's ridiculous townie styles around brakeless until I get a brake set and switch it over to 39x18 SS for the pops.

I had the same thing when I switched over to Keo's... I had probably 2-3 0 mph falls. Do you like the eggbeaters? I just ordered some yesterday on sale.

yummygooey 05-28-11 08:18 PM

I was messing around on my driveway going 0 mph when I fell, so I think I deserved to fall. It was even more embarrassing because a car drove by in midfall.

I like the Egg Beaters because they are easy to get in to with their entry. It still takes some getting used to, though. We'll see how I like them after I actually put some miles on them.

redpear 05-28-11 08:43 PM

Still have yet to join club tombay on my eggbeaters. Long time member on clips and straps though. That said, I love my egg beaters. I recently got the pontoon adapter for road shoes and it's very nice. It gives a nice flat platform and keeps me clipped in better during skids.
