Today I had a jam sesh with my family since everyones home, and I cooked my annual cheese cake. The top got a little over done though, I'm kinda mad about that.

Merry Xmas to all those that celebrate.

And to those that don't, enjoy your time off of work/school and go ride.

got groceries and settled in for a lazy day w/ my sweety-wife. maybe walking the dog, and some roller riding later (too much homemade cheese last night).

planning my Christmas dinner: roasted capon w/ citrus/herb couscous stuffing.

It was just bad timing and the chick wasnt looking when she started turning. I wish we had more official bike lanes instead of just "that big space to the right that isnt used for anything"

Today was day 2 of the Rapha Festive 500 challenge. Went out with the Rapha boys to do 4 corners, Muir Woods and a Paradise loop:

Going up Highway 1 from Muir Woods (I'm second wheel in the red). Photo courtesy of Derrick Lewis of Rapha. Much needed rest day tomorrow, then back on the grind! I'm about half way to my 500kms

Sweet! The bread and the wine, I hope.

Today I started out w/every good intention to complete a 105 mi fg ride. Although it was all within 20 miles of my house and I'd ridden most of the roads before though never on fg and certainly not @ 85 GI. Had to do switchbacks on some climbs. No shame there, but one hill surprised me w/a false crest and stopped me dead. Had to do the hike of shame back down, get a better run at it and made it up the 2nd time. Got to the 59 mi point and went another 1.5 miles and turned around for a metric century. Bummed. Just didn't have it today.

But, a hot shower and 2 cold brown ales helped the bruised ego.

There is no reason for you to be paying more than 50/50 then. Fight this, even if you have to pay lawyer's fees you'll still not have to pay the entire cost of auto repairs. In NY, this wouldn't even be an issue for you most likely. Really sucks dude. Email Bob Mionske (ex-olympic cyclist turned lawyer) for legal advice before you pursue anything if you're unsure of the circumstances and their relation to your state's D.O.T's rules.

Today was a good day. Had a business meeting at 11am to meet our CFO for our startup, played with my niece and nephew for a few hours, finally watched Senna on Netflix, and gave my cousin his decanter set I bought him.

He gave me bottle of 15 yr old Glen and we had a drink.

Family is on their way over for dinner.

Happy holidays to all you boys.
