Today I bought my books for spring semester. Cost me about 1.4 Kilo TTs. Not a lot for most people but I always get smokin deals and this was the best I could do.

Today I bought some Fizik Microtex tape at REI with a gift card and wrapped my bars. I like how much smaller my bars feel now, and the texture is awesome; I also think I did a lot better job than my first wrap job.

Thanks guys. I really like the feel of it.

I always get to the end and my brain cannot understand how to cut it to have it look/feel right. I clunked my way through it this time, but I couldn't tell you how I did.

Also, ive found that the fizik logo tape they give you for the end is sh*t. You might want to put on some electrical tape

Thanks for the heads up. It seems fine now, but I've got a roll of black electrical tape, so I'll tape it up again if need be.

Today I found out my bass is broken. My poor baby (EBMM SR5)!!

I think it may have been damaged when the case was blown over by the wind in a parking lot last week? But I really don't know. So fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. I hope it's just a loose connection and not a fried preamp or something else more serious.

Ouch! I would not mind having the 4-string version of that AT ALL! Such beauties.

And I had to play the set on a crappy Squier P Bass with way jacked up intonation (which I fixed) and action (did not dare to fix on the fly). Near horrifying experience.

Here she is... you really can't tell in the picture but it's an awesome translucent teal (pretty much green IRL) on a beautiful beautiful beautiful one-piece ash body. Plays amazing, sounds even better. One day I'll get a good pic in natural light...

Edit: Found a pic of the body from a long time ago!

Fingers crossed it's a quick bit of soldering.

Here's the best pic I have of my bass. I need to get back there and try to get the headstock in frame next time.

Today I put my T1 up on Ebay / craigslist. Sad day, but with it not getting too much use in a while, it deserves to go to a good home!

Today I rode my damn bike. Backpacks suck. I may just try my luck with the messenger bag tomorrow, hopefully the clavicle doesn't give me too much trouble.

Today I found out that thanks to the fire, I am out of a job for longer than expected. Much longer. Today is also the second day of the semester, and time to spend all my money on books. I really wish these two events were not coinciding like this. ****ing great.

Could be worse. I ate too much for lunch and have to sit in an over-heated office at a desk. For a while there I really thought I was gonna fall asleep on my keyboard.
