I liked how they put a guy who could barely ride a bike on rollers with large metal beams at his side to collapse onto.

Today I am trying to function on 2 hours of sleep. I have an all-staff company reception thing this afternoon with all of our senior management for which I need to be alert and coherent. And then I'm probably going out with friends and will be out til 2am. And then I have to get up for work tomorrow. I did not plan this week out very well. I'll sleep when I'm dead, I guess? So very tired. So unable to form coherent sentences.

Today I'm irritated because velomine doesn't have their NMSW/MSW combo for deep-v's that they had 2~3 weeks ago. I hate my life.

I do need to vent though...
I'm getting sick of the disrespect I am getting. Not from anyone here, but from some of the geared riders in my area. Had one who claims he can fly up hills, claiming he can make it look easy on my 40 mile loop, which at the one mile mark, you are faced with a climb that at one point has a 14% grade. Up to the one mile mark is relatively flat and I was getting hassled on how much easier it would be if I had gears. Once the road started pointing up, I was sick of the trash talk and dropped him on the climb. Waited for him at the end of the climb, and could just tell he was suffering. Her wound up bailing 25 miles in because he couldn't handle it anymore, which is pathetic because the final 15 miles are extremely easy. The first climb from today isn't even the hardest climb in that immediate area, 2 miles to the south of it is a much harder road.

Yesterday I was riding around in our ridiculous 50+ in Jan/Feb weather, totally miscalculated a line and ended up flipping over my bars and wiping out in the street. Scraped up both hands and my right elbow, but my bike (Kilo) ended up relatively unscathed. Well, the front wheel is shifted over to one side now, but it's still rideable.
Today I put the King and Wound Up on the TET. Still haven't ridden though. Enjoying beer instead.
