Ahh, so they still got fruitbooter wheels. Those stupid scooters in skateparks are worse than fruitbooters ever were, IMO.
it was fun tho. was doing rails n stuff b4 i stopped. skatepark rat. I never understood all the hate from teh woodpusherz tho. |
I was a woodpusher, hung out with a couple kids who skated, never saw a problem with it. No reason to hate man. Just the kids on razor scooters who would always end up taking chips out of our rails/box edges.
|
I used to fruitboot around all the time back in the day. We used to play hockey on rollerskates then upgraded to 'blades when they got cheap enough for us. Met some hardcore peeps in 'round '94 and they had me rolling down stairs backwards jumping big gaps and other stuff I never woulda tried. Someday I swear I'm gonna get another pair and get all fruity again.

gettin fruity FTW

Bars are too high. Will never make it in the 41's "Hot or Not" thread. He shoulda thought of that before commissioning build. ;)
http://prollyisnotprobably.com/wp-co...35-970x646.jpg It's not a race build. It's a upright and comfortable city bike. I know the builder, too. Chris Bishop. Nice guy. |
I crushed all my exams I've had over the past 7 days, which is what I need to do one last time at the end of the semester. Ivy league grad school here I come.
|
Oh, and today I finally fixed my flat tire, huge piece of glass went straight through my tube and tire. Now I have to rock a blue tire until I get a new one... unintentionally tarckyness.
|
city bike? LOL
|

Look cleats are really easy to walk in, so it makes sense

are they? Just came across some look pedals and was going to try them out. I think Speedplay cleats are the worst to walk in.
|
Shimano cleats are plenty durable to walk in. I once had to walk a mile on dirt/gravel, it chewed the cleats but the still worked just the same

Wonder how long your bolt's been missing.
|
You ride to school in cleats, on a force equipped bike?
/justjealous |
I have a beaterish specialized epic, but thats missing brake levers, so i occasionally take that when im not feeling lazy.
The bolt has been there ever since i remember. Ive had the bike for half a year, and its now 5 years old, the bolt has always been there when i've checked, even this morning. except for the ride home. |
detached. it's a word now.
that sucks. that happened to me on my cross bike on the way to work one morning. |
Today was a better day.
