I really like mine. I have it and the selle italia slr. I do really like the slr but I find the zoncolan more comfy and the nose is noticeably narrower.

And it really helps when climbing all these mountains in Toronto.

Today I sandblasted my frame and got it sprayed... and completely understand why people charge what they do for powdercoating, prepping the frame kind of sucks.

Prolly should have taken the headset cups out first. You might lose some paint when it comes time to install the new headset.

Yeah, I don't have the tools to do this, and its a 30 dollar bicycle so it will never get a new headset haha

Got my Comic Con ticket confirmation today. I was only able to get Thursday and Sunday tickets.

Anyone else going? I was thinking of bringing a bike.

Today I got my cycling computer in the mail from Nashbar... broken. <_________<
called, and they explained it was a very easy return process, with free return shipping both ways. woot. a little less disappointed now.
first bad transaction with Nashbar. well I shouldn't say bad, I should say meh.

Also, titrated like a boss today, got out HELLA early from my chem lab.

Got some fresh ink. And a promise of a free cover up of an older tattoo from the same artist. And he gave me some tatwax for free as I was leaving. Pretty decent day.

Bikes: good ones.

Today I was diagnosed with bipolar personality disorder. I denied all prescription mood stabilizers because I've seen what they do to some people and I don't want to become an emotionless shell of my former self. I plan on reading a great deal about how to deal with the negative aspects, while at the same time trying to improve virtually every aspect of my life to help regulate the emotions. Some friends were very supportive when I told them. Others said I was crazy for denying medication, which is just what I need to hear right now. I really should start writing in a journal instead of putting all of this out there.

After that, I worked an 8 hour shift which sucked. Hard.

Now I get to stay up all night doing homework. Then I get to slug through an all-essay exam tomorrow, sleep deprived. But even with all this, I'm still a happy camper. I found out that my tax returns will pay off my cranks and bottom bracket. #duraace #duraace #duraace

Hang in there; we all make it out.

Nonetheless I can see you've officially endorsed corporate brands such as nike & DA... how much royalties are you getting for those?

Bikes: tirove

last week i: bought an ipod.

god it's good. i love it. i bought apps. i beat that jetpack game...

tonight i: went to a karaoke night for my friend's birthday.
when i got there i walked into a beautiful rendition of gotye - somebody i used to know (it was so beautiful and heartfelt and the voice... i just wanted to sing backup it was so good).

i was there with bike friends. one of our crew always sings mariah carey at karaoke, but he's touring in se asia now. we all miss him, so i sang 'dreamlover.'

great night of bike riding in the snow and skateparks ensues.

I come home to the shocking realization: i lost my ipod.
my week old ipod. can it be? is it gone?

i looked everywhere. depression sank in. did it fall out on the ride?

i called the bar just in case it showed up, just so they'd have my number if by some fate, i had left it in benevolent hands.

well, i think someone put their headphones in it because i didn't have any headphones... but the photos don't lie, it's my ipod! I can't believe it.

tomorrow i: see if it's that bartender with the impeccable taste in music and singing voice that found my love, and no matter what i will have to make up this mis/fortune with gifts and reward and so much love. can't believe it. can't wait to go back there.

Last night I dyed my bangs and the tips of my hair turquoise. Since I'm shaving it all off for charity in 10 days, and will only be in the office two of those days, I figured I'd have some fun with it. It's been years since I last did something like that with my hair and I forgot how fun it is.
