If your eyes are that good, you can get a pretty good pair of glasses online for under 200 bucks.
I don't like to wear sports glasses, plus sweat dripping down prescription lenses sucks

today I cut steerer, flipped new stem, patched a flat, and consulted about a tattoo in the new future.

Bikes: good ones.

Nice. My mom's man said he might be able to hook me up with a new job. More money and I don't have to waste any on gas.

Today I got my VeloSolo chain ring and it found that doesn't fit with the Kagero's chain stay and the S300 crankset.

Wrong BCD? Too much dinner plate?

Correct BCD. It's just pressed up against the chain stay, can't even turn it. I'm really not sure why there's so little clearance.

Does the velosolo ring have more teeth than your previous one? That's what I meant by "too much dinner plate" since the diameter will be bigger and end up being closer to the chainstay

****. Now that you guys are bringing up chainstay issues, I'm starting to get paranoid about putting a 48t DA ring on my bike and if it will fit.

Nope. Went from a 48T 3/32" ring that came with my cranks to the 1/8" 48T VeloSolo ring, but it's significantly thicker in every way and simply doesn't work.

This sounds really weird. I've see full Omniums on Kageros and everything is thick as can be on those

Yep. It was perplexing to me too; I just sat there trying to make it work for like 30 minutes before I resigned to the fact that it just doesn't.

This is a photo of the 3/32" chainring that comes with the S300's; as you can see there is very little clearance, and installing the VS ring just put it right up on it to where I can't turn the cranks without forcing it.

I'm open to ideas if someone has any, I'd love to use this chainring.

Might be a dumb question, but is your chainstay bent? that seems odd.

I'd shoot scrod a question.

Already chatted with him about it, just seems that the parts are incompatible. I have no reason to think the chainstay is bent, I baby this bike and haven't noticed any issues centering the wheel, etc.

Get a different BB? Maybe try chainring bolt washers? Maybe even spacers for that velosolo if it's rubbing. May need longer CR bolts.

Today I put on my Wabi wheel set. I took my old wheel set and serviced/re-packed the hubs for the first time. Maybe one day soon I'll actually get to ride.

That's a good idea. A BB with a longer spindle would let it clear.
