Today my TT was delivered. Put it together. Looks sharp. Swapped the back cog for a 14t, rear lockring was seized. I guess from sitting in a factory and not being greased in the first place. Heat gun + penetrating oil + pipe wrench + breaker bar = unseized. Greased everything up, and put on a new lockring, the stock was ****.

Fit everything according to my fit calc. Rode it around the block for about 10 mins. Rides like a dream. Bars are meh though. officially looking for some track drops. *cough*cough* The saddle was surprisingly comfortable.

Still need to cut the steerer, we'll see after a few weeks on the track.

All the talk about how sh*tty the stock pedals are? I dont get it. Those pedals are fine, I mean, they would be a little better if they had barrings. feels like they're packed with gravel and peanut butter.

Overall, I'm happy.

Installed my first Travel Agent ever. I was tempted to buy this Trek as we were working on it but I've got too many 90s MTBs already. Will not get another unless a Ritchey P-23, 22, 21, whatever.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7196/7...91450eaf_b.jpg

and watched the unveiling of Main Street's new public art. 3 umbrellas.

http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5326/6...76c9eb22_b.jpg

and went shopping for cheap ass cogs and lockrings but no one in Portland wants to carry the cheep stuff. I grew tired of people trying to sell me $50 cogs for my Free Spirit.

Hell yeah man, I'm happy for you.

Hell yeah. 90GI, it's time to go fast.
Also, is there a pump at the track?

Edit: also, planned a much better route, so I will have no problem getting there on time. The bus gets downtown at 7:45, Then its a 7 mile ride to Hellyer, so I should be there well before 8:30.

cc700 04-06-12 10:25 PM

There isn't. But likely that somebody will just bring one.

90gi is a bit much for a training session imo. Hahaha To each their own though. Bring tools to take your brake off too.

What brake?

I'll bring a CO2 pump just in case, I don't have a floor pump, so my tires are sitting at like 80psi.

Jesus, 90gi and brakeless. Don't blow your knees before you even get to the track. HAhaha

I'll try, haha.

I think I'm just overly excited. I finally get to use 90gi the way it was meant to be.

Sherblock 04-07-12 12:01 AM

Battlefield 1942 maybe?

LesterOfPuppets 04-07-12 12:03 AM

World of Tanks

Best free game ever!

Just started making a little money again so might be hitting up Red Orchestra II here pretty soon if I can get enough free time.

That's one of my favorite games of all time. A true classic. Vietnam is good too.

LesterOfPuppets 04-07-12 12:11 AM

Never played Vietnam. +1 on the BF 1942, tho. Killer game!!!

Sherblock 04-07-12 12:32 AM

It's all about 1943 :P Of course I only say that because it got me into shooters. To bad it never say a PC release.

Right now I'm bring to find a game that is a top-down aviation game set with the red baron, but it's kinda steampunk like. Very hard to describe, but I want to play it again SO BADLY.

Today i was very stressed and really wished i could do a few dozen miles at night just me myself and the road, but my baby mama has an infection and im in the hospital

adriano 04-07-12 02:13 AM

most people hate that orbea. id love one if i could try it on and it fit.

at 90 inches, youll either not be able to attack or respond or youll just destroy the field.

yummygooey 04-07-12 08:44 AM

Yesterday I went on a road ride, chilled at the LBS (remodeling, please excuse the mess), cruised around with gaozilla and another buddy (that's my old FTP!):

Today (since I am home) I went to my local bike store (the only store i've been to worth supporting) and spent like 50 bucks, on my girlfriends bike :( i want new bike stuff

Jaytron 04-07-12 01:54 PM

Today I hit the track with Nagrom_ and TheRealFaux.

There were some practice Keirin races at the end, and I was 1st place 2/2. Destroyed some guy that was running a carbon Planet-X with a disk/IO by like 30m. O_O
