Had a half day because of standardized testing, went home, did homework, bought that soma rush for 330, hung out with friends, and now cleaning the bike up so i can trade it for something my size.
good day.
good day.
got overdrafted because a 14 dollar check that i thought had already cleared had just been sat on for three weeks, and the 14 dollars that was missing was beer slash tacos.

Cheer up, I had a friend get overdrafted because of a 32 ounce coke...
today I talked to Adam at stanridge speed cycles. god damn i want one of his frames. He's apparently only making 50 of that track frame too (he's up to like 13 or so complete already and another 7 are already reserved). super nice guy

Today I worked, stayed late to deep clean, and ended up drinking amazing beer while planning the next new menu for the restaurant. Also, I made chorizo popcorn with pig skin, and an awesome dinner special that sold out in 90 minutes. #culinarygod
Edit: Some of you will be happy to know that I was listening to Lil' B when I made the dinner special. Thank you Based God for the inspiration.

One of our campus bars does "Mustache Night" every Thursday night where it's $1.50 for a mug with a mustache on it and $2/3 for every refill. But today was the last day EVER. Le boo.
So I went and drank beer and got a mug.

Also, I called a guy on craigslist about a raleigh technium. He talked me out of it o_0

Decided to go ride my bike, then my chain decides to slip and lock up shortly into the ride. I almost ate ****.

Considering that my Lager has had four cars nail it with nothing wrong other than a bent fork and a wheel needing trued, that's a fair standard I think. It's actually the blue one with the bottle opener dropout on his site. The POS one was just horrific in the way of geometry. She said (IIRC) that she wanted a track bike with 650b in size 43, and he made one with 700c instead and it was wonky as **** and had insane toe overlap, among other issues. Again, Misskaz knows more about it than I do. Perhaps ask her when she's back from Europe?
That sucks, for $1800, I'd raise hell with an error that large

I agree. Damnit. After attempting to print a shipping label about 20 times and only getting a nearly solid black smear of toner on the page each time, I literally went blank and just grabbed the printer, went out door into the alley and smashed it in what seemed like one swift motion. Angie said it was one of the funniest things she'd ever seen. Now she's singing "Damage, Inc" but changing the words to be about me losing my mind over a printer.

Not sure getting hit by a car is a fair standard. My friend got hit by a car on his IRO Mark V Pro. He walked away fine but his seat tube has a 6" crack along it.
If a walmart bike can pass the test, a two thousand dollar custom frame better pass too.

You guys realize that no two accidents are exactly the same, right? Just because one frame survived and one didn't doesn't necessarily mean the one that didn't was crap.

Also thought I spotted another one of the Free Spirit I got. But it's a different model - Brittany instead of Sunbird.

And even in an exact same accident I imagine a high grade performance steel bike would be more prone to damage as the walls are thinner at some points (better tubbing) than a highten bike.
my thoughts too ^ at least with the wal mart comparison
I talked to a baum dealer after jimmy tango pissed in my cereal (I kid) - and yeah... those frames cost as much as they look
