Today, I take the final exam of the year, which consisted of 9 400 level biochemistry courses, among other electives.

Yesterday I took my statistics final, I only needed to get 1 question right to get an A so I just made educated guesses on most of the exam, I got a 72, the average was a 60.

Last night I got to see Sarah Hammer mix it up off the front at the local tuesday night track series with the Men's A's. Several dudes in that race I know to be successful cat1's on the road (obv. male)...

It was awe-inspiring. I've never seen a rider of that caliber before. She was clearly stronger than most of the men in that race.

I really just want to get to that kind of speed. :|

TMonk 05-02-12 09:51 AM

so fast....

she accelerated off the front in the first part of the race to start a 3 man break that lasted nearly the whole time... her pull lasted 2 laps...

that kind of power is impressive for a man.

Today I fell in love with oatmeal all over again.

gigantor 05-02-12 10:05 AM

Sounds gross I know... But sometimes...

I put spam or bacon into my oatmeal...

(not trying to lose weight)

Today I checked my resting heart rate in the morning and it is 51... /feelinghealthy.

yummygooey 05-02-12 10:31 AM

RGNY 05-02-12 10:35 AM

You're a beast TMonk.

TMonk 05-02-12 11:44 AM

not necessarily

just cause my heart rate is high doesn't mean my power output is :D

.....road my first 30 mile ride this Spring.

EpicSchwinn 05-02-12 12:18 PM

Today I'm driving to Idaho to pick up my new (to me) bike!

Santaria 05-02-12 12:42 PM

Got put on the nebulizer for the next few days - allergy-induced bronchitis.

Made me realize, while I laid in bed wheezing like an old man yesterday, that 27.6 MPH w/ 16-and-some change MPH average over 21 miles while hacking up a lung means I'm in better shape than I realized - and significantly more stupid.

Saturday we'll see how I feel. I am supposedly going to participate in the Pedal 2 Padre, but if I'm still hacking up cookies, I might pass.

jimmytango 05-02-12 12:54 PM

Today, I go to work sick because no one can cover me. Awesome.

Edit: That may be the shortest shift I have ever worked. 25 minutes in, the owner caught me puking into a garbage can and sent me home.

NateRod 05-02-12 12:59 PM

Rode a blue bare knuckle (sorry, Scrod) home, brakeless, under pouring rain.

Somewhat fun.

jdgesus 05-02-12 01:19 PM

There's the rub: "OK condition."

Mine had lots of rust, including the heater ducts along the running boards. I sold it after I got frostbite on my feet one winter while driving up to my parent's house.
