Chicago had the best mexican food of any place I've been, although I didn't like it when I first moved there because I had grown accustomed to the texmex of central Texas. It was a long time before I realized that mexican good food extended beyond steak fajitas. Now, I suppose I can appreciate both texmex and authentic mexican.
