Wife told me I can't have any more bikes until we get a garage to put them in. Soooo.... we're moving June 1st. We've got this packing thing down to a science too. Super pumped!

Dang, 10 year old wally world bike?

Yeah, an ancient mongoose mountain bike. I actually wondered if it was old enough to be a nice pre-wally mongoose, but the components suggested otherwise.

Volunteered at the co-op all afternoon, made a little beer run, and am kicking back enjoying a cold one.

This must be the answer to PBR in Canada... it used to come in a plain brown wrapper and despite being the cheapest beer you can buy here it is definitely not the worst.

Today I: am buying a new frameset. The seatpost is stuck in mine, and I've tried everything, including melting it out with lye, and nothing has worked. So, I'm trying to decide what to get.

The Leader 722TS frame&fork deal from City Grounds seems like a pretty good deal. I was just about to pull the trigger, when I checked eBay and saw a Flite 100 frameset in my size for $200. Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/KHS-Flite-10...#ht_1109wt_954

Which would you guys suggest?

Today my oakley's fell off my helmet during the group ride with me toward the front of the pack and well you get the idea...

Today I walked in my graduation ceremony :)

Today I saw the avengers in 3d. I never saw a 3d movie before so it was pretty awesome, and the movie was excellent.

Also, I played with my mini RC helicopter a lot. Those things are awesome, I highly recommend everyone try one haha.

I've drank three gallons of water in seven hours, haven't peed, and I have a dehydration headache. Awesome.

Today I'm now having a bit of an anxiety attack. I haven't spent this much money in a while, but I've liked the Leader frames for a while and that 722TS deal was too good to pass up. Also picked up some new cranks, as I've been wanting to try some 165s for a while now. And a new saddle, and a couple tools, and, and, and... Someone cut up my debit card.

I've tried it. Meh. I've just been getting my ass kicked in a kitchen for eight hours. It's currently the coolest it's been in here all day, and it's 114.

calv 05-19-12 09:16 PM

3 gallons in 7 hours is pretty crazy. Anything with electrolytes greatly helps you overcome dehydration.

Jared. 05-19-12 09:28 PM

Leaving work for the day is the only thing that overcomes dehydration in that situation. Broken/no AC in the kitchen in hot weather sucks.

Dannihilator 05-19-12 09:36 PM

Today I had a very stressful day at the pump track. So sick of it right now.

Sherblock 05-19-12 09:38 PM

Maker Faire today was great! Calfee was there... omg. He had a track bike out, and this beautiful tandem, which was full carbon, full red, disc brakes, and had a belt drive. Just so, so hot. Also his dropouts are amazing.

Also, I played a banana.

Today I crashed... to the bozo that threw random bits of lumber all over the road... f you and the horse you rode in on.

If I had not been laying by bike hard into a corner I could have rode over things or bunny hopped but hit a piece of debris with my front wheel and lost it.

Jaytron 05-19-12 11:54 PM

Today I went on a ride from SF to Maker's Faire. Was awesome. Bummed that one of the riders got cut off RIGHT when we got there, she went down and banged her knee pretty good, ended up leaving in the ambulance. :C

I did that big group ride from Delores park that they do every year. y u no know?

Some people made the mistake of following me. My "group" started off with like 30 people, then we lost a few coming out of the city, by the time we hit the airport, there were 8 other people besides me that were barely hanging on. I felt bad, so I waited. We were so far ahead that if they got dropped then, they would have just been lost. I was on the low geared kilo tt too. I also kinda took us off course. TIL that z3 for me is pain cave for some people :C

Muffin Man 05-20-12 12:47 AM

I got an eBay sniper app. Hope this works

jimmytango 05-20-12 12:49 AM

I just spent 12 hours in a hot kitchen sweating my ass off. Now I'm gonna go spend a few hours on the dance floor sweating my ass off.
