So I finally realized the noise that I thought my SRAM chainring was making was actually my GXP. Meticulously repacked it and now it's buttery smooth. Fingers crossed. Gonna go drink some beer.

got the '05 Ridley Crossbow frameset in the mail.

once the swap is done, i think i'm going to build up the current as a SSCX.

one steel, one aluminum fixed; one steel, one aluminum CX commuter. sounds about right....

Not horrible? It's amazing.

But yeah, regarding the frame... I have no idea. I wont upgrade until I feel the need, and at that point, its truly between a Tiemeyer, and a Stanridge...

leaning towards the Tiemeyer.

not ANY time soon though.

Bikes: 2010 Focus Mares

My kitchen peaked at 130 degrees, two coolers broke, the ice machine is still down, our sewer started backing up, I have a headache, and I just found out that we have a thief on staff. Today is frustrating as hell. The highlight will likely be the bike ride home.

Bikes: Bike Count: Rising.

Today(yesterday) I nearly crushed my right shoulder with a 70 year old steel roller while building at the pumptrack after losing my footing and falling.

Taking a well much needed beer break... am building up my folder tonight and won't sleep until it's done.

Should be a 3 beer minimum on the build.

Just got back.... I hate craigslist. I asked the guy several times for the measurements. 170mm, 45t, 1/8, 144bcd.

I get there. It's a road double crank, missing the second chainring...........

Trololololol, too good to be true for $150. On a related note, my friend uses 144bcd Suntour Superbe Pro road double cranks for his fixed gear. I understand the need for that NJS stamp though haha.

Yesterday I went to the Washington Brewers Fest. Then went to a party. Got home too late. Slept for 5 hours and now I'm up to go buy a $1000 camera and attempt a century.
