Today I explored Tri Cities, WA...all the bike shops were closed. Here for a few days working on a boat before I head to Portland.

Any suggestions for bike shops, coffee, booze and foods in Portland? Also, areas to stay in?

Today I'm buying lights because last night I almost got taken out by oncoming traffic turning left. Some of the roads out here are really frickin dark.

Today I am slightly hungover, went out for karaoke for the first time in almost two weeks, got home at 4am. today i woke up and checked craigslist like i always do
scored a pair of Diadora Aerospeed 2's in Flo Yellow for $25. They fit awesome so im really excited about these.

guy was really cool asked me what kind of bike i have and when i said FTP he said i was nuts for riding fixed and clipless. He mentioned he had just bought a pista a couple months back and mentioned it still scared him.

It was Kenny. He knows my repertoire pretty well, we've been hanging out a lot lately. Even took him to karaoke at the Atlantic a couple weeks ago. :)
