Today I came home to even more Facebook posts about Lance.

Muffin Man 01-17-13 10:50 PM

Does it really matter anymore? He doped, just like everyone else, and got caught.
ITS ALL A CONSPIRACY TO GET HIM MORE SCREEN TIME AND MAKE MORE MONEY.

jimmytango 01-17-13 11:09 PM

The only part of the Lance debacle that upsets me is how many people he went after/took down for accusing him.

As of next month, I am a full-time employee of The Pony Shop (Cannondale/Stevens/Mavic dealer) and part-time/on-call occasional employee at Performance.

Scrodzilla 01-17-13 11:13 PM

Today I care about Lance Armstrong just as little as I cared about him when I was 12 years old.

Cut the line my headset made instead of the one I did on my steerer tube. Damn it was straight; looks like this build will take a little longer than I thought.

Muffin Man 01-18-13 01:43 AM

Ooof. What are you building up?

i RIDE 01-18-13 02:01 AM

A Big Block; just trying to figure out my options. Still hurts thinking about it.

cc700 01-18-13 02:07 AM

saw that my hubs came in for my training wheelset. oh god i can't hardly wait to build them.

also learned that they're going to have me build a bike and start in on mechanic training tomorrow. excited!

zoltani 01-18-13 01:52 PM

today i am applying for alpine climbing course, if i get in it will definitely cut into my riding time, but should be worth it.

jimmytango 01-18-13 02:51 PM

Work so far today: change 9000 lightbulbs, put a new Cane Creek 40 on my whip, eat lunch. Not bad.

Today I put a quick 25ish (what the route usually is, I don't have a computer on the it yet) on the CAAD10.

Today I got off my lazy ass and went for a ride. Now I get to sweep up dog **** in the back yard, then continue watching Monster (best anime I've seen in a long time).

Story of my motherf'n life.

Jealous of climbing courses and time for riding

Dannihilator 01-18-13 06:52 PM

Today wraps up a busy week. Did get some time in on the dmr though.

Fombaborn 01-18-13 07:06 PM

RGNY 01-18-13 07:43 PM

Manual is the way to go. I learned to drive with one, and have never owner an auto.

The best part about driving stick is that most people can't, there for no one ever asks to drive your car.

yummygooey 01-18-13 08:10 PM

i'm excited that i'll be able to potentially drive a fun car... probably some turbo'd 4 banger. might as well enjoy driving if i'm gonna be doing 50 miles a day to work, right? i'm not sure if i'll be taking the truck to seattle with me or if i'll just get a new car when i get there.

and no, i don't enjoy getting up at 4:30am to ride a bike to work so i can sit down at my desk by 7.

An Sti wagon would be a nice turbo'd 4 banger.

Ever since selling my car I've been lusting over getting a wagon.

a non-sti wrx is more in my budget :)

Jared. 01-18-13 09:28 PM

Just use that truck, if it can make the drive out there. Most utilized vehicle I ever had was a compact pickup.

Muffin Man 01-18-13 10:57 PM

Goddamnit. I attempted to swap over my Sram stuff onto my CAAD, and apparently Sram doesn't like to play with old derailleur cables.

Nagrom_ 01-18-13 11:42 PM

Did some crazy ass trade with Muff, cant remember.
