good workout this morning. going to church involved a 20mph headwind. felt like a total boss coming home though, so speedy. the ss Nature Boy saw me through winter very well.

just have to dial in the indexing and wrap the bars on the Ridley Crossbow 1x9 project. loving Retroshift. may have to find a vintage d/t shifter for some bling.

Man, I am really loving Retroshift as well. So much nicer than STI in my opinion.

i know its brutal outside when the water in the bowl sloshes around from the wind

Jandro 04-08-13 01:06 PM

The wind was so bad last night that a tree fell onto a car on my block. The City sent a crew out to clear it from the road with chainsaws. At 2AM :(

Muffin Man 04-08-13 01:22 PM

Its windy as hell outside, and I'm gonna go climbing today because its spring break dammit, and I'm not gonna waste it.

calv 04-08-13 01:22 PM

Horrible.

There were so many branches on the path.

Nagrom_ 04-08-13 01:28 PM

Yeah, we have a wind advisory in the bay right now.

It's windy.

Mumonkan 04-08-13 01:32 PM

welcome to my world.

Nagrom_ 04-08-13 01:34 PM

Eh... still gonna hit 65, hahaha.

hairnet 04-08-13 01:59 PM

Windy here too. I saw the wind blow over some poor frutas guy's cart.

SpeshulEd 04-08-13 02:08 PM

Windy in Phoenix today as well...which mean the sky is a nice brown color from all the blowing sand.

thewilson 04-08-13 02:09 PM

It is a great bike, but now that I have the Wabi I doubt it'll get ridden more than a handful of times.

Today I went mountain biking for the 3rd day in a row. Legs are sore, but I'm jonesing to go again....if the rain holds off, I'll hit up a trail after work tomorrow.
Ain't nothin like single speed mountain biking to kick your ass into shape.

Today I can't ride. I am waiting for our twin boys to arrive. Water broke, epidural in, contractions closer together.

johnnytheboy 04-08-13 03:42 PM

Congrats, man!

RGNY 04-08-13 03:43 PM

Thanks.

It was a bit of work to build... the first one is always the hardest but there isn't anything quite like it that you can buy off the peg.

I just happen to have a torch and a shop full of tubing for making things like this... :)

http://www.ravingbikefiend.com/bikes...rack%20(2).JPG

It allows for almost 4 inches of vertical travel for the panniers in case you want more clearance but sets them lower than most off the peg racks to keep the weight down low for normal riding... important when you are touring off road.

Germany_chris 04-08-13 04:17 PM

drank a bit too much vodka, and tomorrow I will suffer for it during my workout :thumb:

cc700 04-08-13 04:28 PM

today i demoed a kona process and had the most fun i've ever had in the mud.
