Today I went on a ride hosted by the LACBC. A large ride, only 20 miles, and moving along at like 12mph. People were showing up all kitted out and ready to race :wtf: Very leasiurly, it was nice going to some to places that I havent ridden to in a long time. I also had to ditch my single pivot 600 brake. Its return spring is way too strong and has just been fatiguing my hand, especially when I have to brake on a descent.

Tried to work up the motivation to go ride, but I think what's going to happen is fried chicken and ice cream.

My plan was to put in 20-30 miles, but then I did some grocery shopping in 3 trips. Changed my mind completely, and I've been lazing since then. Whoops.

I was gonna go to the track today, but instead, did the exact opposite, and made that sandwich.

Chock full of 2 days worth of saturated fat!

Big dogs are the best. And they always do the cutest/funniest things. My aunt and uncle's greyhound will wander the house for a few minutes, stop, and just fall straight to his side.

I miss having dogs, a lot. I used to live with three, a tree walking coon hound, dalmatian, and brittany springer spaniel.

Today I won $100 on a $2 scratch ticket. Boom.

Got the Fuji completely disassembled, lubed, and partially reassembled. Went to the co-op and picked up some various parts for it too. Also got the house cleaned and did half the week's homework. Now for a frozen pizza and a fountain soda. Life is so good today.

Today I threw the dmr around a bit.

I've been tempted to build a vintage roadie lately I'm just waiting for the right frame to jump out at me. There's a nice Miyata on my local Xl and I'm tempted but I want a Bridgestone or a Panasonic frame

Went out on a nice date with this girl I am super into and have been for awhile now. We had been talking and going out regularly, but tonight she said she only wants to be friends after 4 months of build up and very positive signs. I feel kinda really sad. I need to ride my bike
