Hopslam is the ****. So much deliciousness, and dat percentage. I love Bells. And Founders.

Reminds me of that old gif of the muay thai guy who tried to kick some dudes leg and snapped his shin.

and some people say i eat too much cheese

never broke a bone in my life.

it sucks, and im sure it hurt like a mother****er, but ive seen worse.
while training for EMS a dude decided to jump out of his 2nd story window (pcp is fun) and land flat on his feet, snapped BOTH femurs. quads being the strongest muscle on your body retracted both bones enough they went through his skin. had to traction both his legs, guy passed out from pain pretty much instantly after that.

today i went for a quick ride to cure boredom and the weather quickly turned to crap with 33 mph wind and some light rain, i cant win with this wind.
went to lbs to replace spent co2 cartridge and aparently they cost $4 a pop now

sup amazon 12 pack?

SpeshulEd 04-01-13 03:23 PM

The only thing that bugged me was at the end of the game when the coach was interviewed and said he's never seen anyone be injured before and then continue to care about the rest of the team winning the game.

Has the guy never watched any live sporting event where someone was injured? Cuz that happens every time.

Muffin Man 04-01-13 08:31 PM

Finally back from Hawaii. I would be on my bike right now, but I'm still sick, and I have a **** ton of homework I need to make up.

The wind was crazy at least dry is following it this time...

Today I went for an AM street ride and put the new bits on before the ride and then put 40 miles in this afternoon.

FakeFuji 04-01-13 09:19 PM

Today I felt really slow untill I saw the specs of the wind upon arriving home, climbing into the wind basically stopped me dead.

Today I went saddle shopping and bought a toupe

Dannihilator 04-01-13 09:27 PM

Listening to the new soilwork cd, frikken outstanding.

calv 04-01-13 10:05 PM

Today I remember that I forgot most of the tools for my bike at home during spring break. Can't install my spds.

Brake cable too short for new handle bars. Can't install.

FML.

edit: At least I got to install 5 sets of Kool Stop pads.

Well yea, but how often do you see an open compound fracture of a tibia right in front of your eyes? I see your point for something like a sprained ankle, but once you've got an open wound with bone sticking out, all bets are off. I don't think my initial reaction would have been any different.

GENESTARWIND 04-02-13 08:18 AM

baah that video of the leg break was weak sauce...ive had a compound fracture although not nearly as bad and ive had the opportunity of looking through a hole in my hand before which was kind of cool.

Well I guess that makes you some kind of badass or something. Mad props to you brah, next time we will make sure to include better audio of the bone breaking or something. You know, to keep it hardcore.

GENESTARWIND 04-02-13 09:00 AM

not trying to be hardcore just agreeing with another poster...what is up with people twisting things to suit themselves lately. it was just a post. no hidden agenda or dick swinging contest...

get off your high horse.
