Wasn't today... but I did 50 miles with a lot of hills and going down them really destroyed my knees. So, today I decided to save up for a road bike. Track bikes are fun, but hills man.. going down them just sucks.

A lot of those problems can probably be fixed by a experienced fitter if you haven't gotten one already.

Haha, I'm only kidding. I have nothing against brakes. I just think using them instead of back pedaling is silly and you're not getting the full feel of FG. |
breaks r deth.
Today I found a baby praying mantis in my ash tray. I think he was looking for his dad. |

FWIW, I agree. Bombing hills on a road bike is way more fun.

What's actually funny is that when you ride with a brake you are not allowed to back pedal and must use it for all decelerations instead of your legs... its against the rules.
What's really funny is that you think I'm implying that, even though I never said it. In fact, you were the one that implied it (at all) when you told me to get a brake. |
Today I went out for a short chill ride after weeks off the bike. Also met garlic_rice for like five seconds.

OK I can do that. and I think its time for me to leave and do my planned 2hr ride on the fixed gear. only problem is it has brakes so its gonna suck.

This morning I got 9th overall in a strava segment plus 5 other PRs. If this is some how attributed to new tires, than I think new wheels might have to happen shortly.
Right now, water changes for the fish tanks...400gals out, 400gals in. Tonight, fancy 5 course mexican dinner and tequila tasting. |

today i departed on my morning ride into work, 1.4 miles later my tube decided to fail at the valve. was already running late so i pumped it up and rode back home and drove to work.
second day in a row i get screwed out of riding and its making me very cranky. to salvage this day i drove the section of route where i lost my water bottle last week and i found that son of a *****. it was less than 100 ft away from where i went to grab a bottle that wasnt there, jackass. cleaned and sterilized it with bleach and im gonna keep on using it.

Embarrassed the hell out of my gf in 2002 walking by CBGBs with her while wearing my Bush T-shirt. She was so mad at loss of punk rock cred that shortly afterward she disposed of said shirt while I was sleeping or working or something. |
Mowed the lawn, made carne asada. Maybe I will get to ride a bike later too.

Today I want to say that U2 is the worst band in the history of the world.
That is all. |

That is all. On the subject of Bush, Razorblade Suitcase wasn't that bad of an album either. |
