A lot of those problems can probably be fixed by a experienced fitter if you haven't gotten one already.

I agree, but only if you know what's next. The ride I did I hadn't done before and the hills were literally like 400 feet at a 6% grade with turns, so I couldn't tell if there was an intersection or what...

Bombing is the ****, though.

And **** brakes.

Haha, I'm only kidding. I have nothing against brakes. I just think using them instead of back pedaling is silly and you're not getting the full feel of FG.

seau grateau 05-05-13 12:36 PM

breaks r deth.

Today I found a baby praying mantis in my ash tray. I think he was looking for his dad.

What's actually funny is that when you ride with a brake you are not allowed to back pedal and must use it for all decelerations instead of your legs... its against the rules.

seau grateau 05-05-13 12:42 PM

Kinda like going clipless.

Just trying to follow your logic here. This road bike will have brakes, right?

seau grateau 05-05-13 12:47 PM

FWIW, I agree. Bombing hills on a road bike is way more fun.

What's really funny is that you think I'm implying that, even though I never said it. In fact, you were the one that implied it (at all) when you told me to get a brake.

Adrian_ 05-05-13 12:52 PM

Today I went out for a short chill ride after weeks off the bike. Also met garlic_rice for like five seconds.

TMonk 05-05-13 01:24 PM

OK I can do that. and I think its time for me to leave and do my planned 2hr ride on the fixed gear. only problem is it has brakes so its gonna suck.

Nagrom_ 05-05-13 01:27 PM

This morning I got 9th overall in a strava segment plus 5 other PRs. If this is some how attributed to new tires, than I think new wheels might have to happen shortly.
Right now, water changes for the fish tanks...400gals out, 400gals in.
Tonight, fancy 5 course mexican dinner and tequila tasting.

today i departed on my morning ride into work, 1.4 miles later my tube decided to fail at the valve. was already running late so i pumped it up and rode back home and drove to work.

second day in a row i get screwed out of riding and its making me very cranky.

to salvage this day i drove the section of route where i lost my water bottle last week and i found that son of a *****. it was less than 100 ft away from where i went to grab a bottle that wasnt there, jackass.

cleaned and sterilized it with bleach and im gonna keep on using it.

I was having definitely having some good times when Bush was on the radio.

Embarrassed the hell out of my gf in 2002 walking by CBGBs with her while wearing my Bush T-shirt. She was so mad at loss of punk rock cred that shortly afterward she disposed of said shirt while I was sleeping or working or something.

striknein 05-05-13 04:33 PM

Mowed the lawn, made carne asada. Maybe I will get to ride a bike later too.

I hope you broke up with her.

Today I want to say that U2 is the worst band in the history of the world.
That is all.

Agreed. Bono is an idiot.

On the subject of Bush, Razorblade Suitcase wasn't that bad of an album either.
