It still works but I think the screen protector on it is the only thing that's going for it.
Yeah I've gotten in the bad habit of texting and talking while riding without a hands free device.

Anyone have any experience with the Lyzene Blox 23 or the Topeak Mini 20 Pro?
or can you recommend any other similar multi-tools? Wanting at least 2-8 hex bits, screwdriver(s), spoke wrench(s), tire lever, and a chain breaker.

You would think the manufacturer wouldn't put the bike in a photoshoot in small-big. The actual bike looks nice, but its set up so stupidly.

I pack and can vouch for my topeak alien III. A bit bulkier but it has everything you'll ever need roadside and then some.

I believe it's bikesdirect. They don't really care about things I don't think.

Nope. Straight from GT's site. Here's a 6100 dollar bike small-bigged.

Even worse.

Nagrom_ 01-28-13 01:50 AM

Dura Ace 9000 nonetheless.

Leukybear 01-28-13 02:19 AM

Shimano should start making BB30 road cranks dammit. SL-K cranks are butt ugly and I'm sick that I paid for a BB30 shell that I further paid to not use (the adapter sleeve). Yes I is disappoint w/ DA 9k.

oh you can bet i'll be bragging my ass off once it's done, and the idea is to keep it reasonably priced because us off-the-bell-curve sized people often have to go spendy custom. of course you can always keep an eye on the tiny fix twitter, facebook, website, or tumblr. ;)

BB30 will soon be out as other standards come in. One is BB386 which allows for a threaded outboard BB in some frames(with standard 68mm shell) as well as pressfit in others. Shimano probably likes that.

ddeadserious 01-28-13 01:32 PM

Today Wabi posted about their new Lightning road frame. Then I thought about buying it instead of a Mr. Pink. Now I'm over it.

Cynikal 01-28-13 02:52 PM

Today I bought some NOS 8 speed C-recors DT shifters. Only took a year or so of looking for them.

Kayce 01-28-13 03:38 PM

Nan,

Unless you are doing some serious serious long distance touring there is no reason to have a spoke wrench on your mutli-tool. Nice ones are cheap, and its almost always an at home job.
