Fresh Garbage
I did Wolfpack last night for the first time in a couple years and on my fixed gear for the first time. It was windy as hell out there and get sketchy a few times. I was holding up fairly well until the last leg of the route. In the last 12 miles I crashed while we were following a curving road in a pace line. Not a corner but just enough so I had some lean and then a crack in the road grabs my tire(s) and I go down and slide at least 10 feet while the others try to not crash into me, one did hit my head with his leg. No real damage, just a little shaken. We get going after a few minutes and it looks like I can still keep up, but no, I lose it and slowly get left behind. I still rode/limped the remaining ten or so miles back to the start.
Now Im getting ready to ride to work with road rash and only a couple hours of sleep :-P

I'm always paranoid about road cracks doing that. So many cracky roads out here, and it seems like every crack is 23mm wide.

I was going to do WPH last night too but decided not to, my knee still hurts from the 130mi ride on Saturday, didn't want to push it. Kinda glad I decided to take it easy.
Instead, I went and bought the sqrl a cute little white and silver Giant mountain bike from CL, got a killer deal on it. It wasn't running, but all easy fixes: replaced rear tube and pumped up flat but still good front one, adjusted FD limits and put the chain back on which had fallen off onto the BB shell and she didn't know how to put it back on, regreased and tightened a ridiculously loose and dry headset, setup brakes a bit better, cleaned it up real nice. Good as new. Surprised her with it when she got home last night, she loves it. Hopefully she'll actually start riding it enough to be able to go on some real rides with me soon.

^ I did the SF WPH last night. It was the first time I had done it in about 3 months. I had been a regular up until I started working at TCB where scheduling/tired legs discouraged me from going.
Fresh Garbage
It's hard for me to make the ride because I volunteer at the co-op Monday nights and I have to be at work the next morning while the ride ends/I get home at around 3am

Lately I've been riding in slush/rain salt so I decided to take care of my bike today and my rear hub was damn near seized! I repacked her and took it for a quick ride and damn is it a whole new world having a freely spinning hub.
Still kicking.
Today I had a great commute in and back. Though on the way home some jackass nearly plows into into me when he decided he absolutely needed to be in front of me despite me having the right of way.

Today I confess that I know I'm friends with a lot of you dudes on FB and instagram but I don't really have real names/instagram handles mapped to your usernames here.
Except yummygoey and jdgesus.
Edit: And scrod, obvs.

40w holy crap. What kind of guitar?
I'm thinking about a Fender Superchamp 15w which would be more than enough for me. Just a practice amp really.
My friend kinda talked me into it, and playing his Telecaster doesn't help. I'm looking at the PRS Santana SE.

today i am excited because of the order i placed. In a week or so i will be back to fixed gear. I loath shifting and generally keep it in one gear as is and removing the rear tire with a der hang is annoying.

Today i rode almost 20 mi total, 15 or so in almost one go, albeit at a mellow pace ( and a stop for tacos -- had none; stop for beer -- had some) which is a new personal record for me. Could not have imagined riding that far, fixed, 2 months ago. Slowly but surely . It feels nice not wanting to die after 5 miles.
