I just bought a cheap kiddie trailer off eBay. You'd barely notice your lab in it unless you hit a hill. Sometimes though, it's easier to leave the mutt home, not because he's trouble ( he's not) but more because it's just one more thing to worry about. Of course, I could take the dog and leave the kids home

You gonna eat that?
Yep. He had already left our club and moved on to team racing when I started riding with them. I met him the first time the other night at our club's Christmas party; he was the guest speaker. Then he showed up yesterday. He's a good guy with a great head on his shoulders. For the record, I didn't ride with his group

Today I ordered wheels, BB and even remembered cogs. Okay, I forgot the cogs but did a second order for them. Hmm, now I am wondering if the wheels come with lock rings... Oh, well I still have time before the frame is painted up and ready for components.
Pretty excited, this is my first fixie project and it's been a lot of fun planning, polishing etc

gracias, amigos.
car shopping, apartment hunting, winter base miles (especially since i haven't really ridden in like 2 months, school why?!?!?)
and my sister told me she wants her guitar back, so now i gotta go guitar shopping (no more bike money for now)
but i'm thinking the next bike should be a touring rando something style bike with racks and bags and fen-derps.
work starts March 1...!

Congrats, gooey!
With each minute that passes, I'm getting more irritated. I'm surrounded by dunces.

Still kicking.
Today good street ride until a friend eats it on a stair set and breaks collarbone and shoulder blade.

Stripped down an old Schwinn for the vintage Sugino SuperMaxy cranks. Grabbed a titanium Cinelli stem from the shop parts bin. Enough parts to build up the rest of the Novarra steel frame should be arriving tomorrow.
Merry Christmas to me...

Nice to see you around these parts again tejano!
Today I saw the bad bay area weather and the Christmas time of year as a good excuse to have a lazy day with the sqrl. Ended up watching the robocop, rambo, and working through the LOTR trilogy right now.

Today(yesterday) I decided to clean my chain, and I some how managed to actually break the link. Now my chains too short, and literally just the other day I threw out my extra links thinking I wouldn't need them any longer. LUCKILY I found a 42 tooth chain ring in my bin which just barely works with the chain, so I installed that in the event I can't find an open shop today. Now I'm running 42x18 instead of 48x18, but I'll be damned if anything gets in the way of me having a chance to bike 3 days in a row. Oh yeah, merry whatever it is you celebrate.
