Today I shoveled snow for 12 hours and still have more to do to tomorrow. My whole body is pretty damn sore. Tiger balm all over my body tonight

Today I shoveled snow and took a causual ride around the neighborhood.

Thus far, I've spent the majority of my day in the ER with my wife. No fun.

Today I cleaned up the Nishiki. It has a sweet as paint job that I didn't notice under all the dirt and rust. It's celeste decals on a metallic sparkly black. So sweet.
Broke it down to the frame. None of the bearings were seized, but they all needed overhauling. Only thing left to install is the BB/crank. Then it's time to find some parts for it.

I need canti's, drop bars, levers, tires, chain, and a tensioner, and I'm good to go.

I'm only $60 in after the bike, saddle, and tubes. I set a budget of 150, so we'll see if I can stick to that. It's looking good so far.

All it takes is one misstep/ splurge. :p

I've got a Tektro canti that came stock on my Nature Boy and if you can use it for your build I'll just send it to ya.

Today I rode the roadie and got back home to an unexpected package from amazon at my doorstep which was expected to arrive on Monday but made it to me in less than 13 hours from ordering.

You got same day delivery, which is a new thing.

Today I was a marshal and partial leader for a LACBC ride. I have never had to lead a ride of about 30+ people through city streets but everything turned out well. I also decided to use an adapter to go threadless on my Panasonic. Sometimes I can't stand quill stems.

Today I'm hungover. And I have my first of two soccer games in a few hours. And, the girl that I like gave me a ride home, and was hanging out here, until I threw up. So she gave me a glass of water, and went home. I am disappoint in self. Probably won't play Edward 40 hands again for a while.

Schweeeet. I might score some Avid Shorty 4's for 20 bucks.

Today my entire body aches from shoveling between knee and waist-deep snow all day yesterday. This is definitely our last winter here.

I'm so jealous of your snow, scrod! We've had some snow, which turned into slush, which froze into ice, and which is now melting as it rains. YUCK.

It's hard for me to look at snow like that, because the only time I see snow, is when I'm on vacation.

Today I met up with my coach to get a bike fit.

Good news: It was free

Bad news: It was free because he couldn't dial me in on my current bikes (too small). Not having a huge gut anymore, and being able to bend forward is a thing.

Indirect good news: I get to buy new bikes. ICANHAAV 10?!?!

Look at the pics I just posted in the RG thread. You can't just sit around and wait for three feet of snow to melt.
