Today I fooled myself into starting what should have been a recovery ride. It wasn't.

that could mean that you didnt need a recovery ride. I'm getting the impression that you have planned it into your training (riding?) schedule which is good. Perhaps it means that you body can handle more than u think, which is also good ;)

which was a blast btw.

while I had been at the sd velodrome many times (esp from my urban fg days pre 07) I had never been to tuesday night racing.
tons of beer, food and cycling enthusiasts of all types. We ran into friends of ours from the roadie scene and from the urban fg scene as well. I think I might make this a regular tuesday night evening until I finally take the damn class and race on the track myself.

if i like the track enough I may mostly stop racing on the road. The track just seems safer, cheaper and more fun most of the time.

Old news, mang. From May 2011:

The all black version does look quite sexy though.

yummygooey 04-25-12 07:28 AM

Meh. I'm all up on dat Zona Nature Boy though.

seau grateau 04-25-12 10:08 AM

Yeah I never really got all giddy over that one. Might consider it if it's under $400 for the frameset, but I doubt that.

On the contrary, the above looks much better than the black. The risers kill it for me through.
/not racist as long as it's not a white bike posted above

hamfoh 04-25-12 10:32 AM

yeah it's hard for me to get excited about that unless it's cheap.

All this talk about it being expensive.... from the econo- brand all - city? What's the MSRP they're thinking of? Kagero/ cinelli/ super pista territory?

Scrodzilla 04-25-12 10:36 AM

I doubt it. That frameset is basically All-City's version of the Pake French 75. I kinda can't wait to check one out in person.

jdgesus 04-25-12 10:47 AM

exactly. my wabi is slowly self destructing and want a nice alum but not painfully$$$ replacement

hamfoh 04-25-12 10:55 AM

explain^

I know you ride 500 miles a day, but sup

I'll give you $100 for it

TheRealFaux 04-25-12 11:15 AM

Raw driveside chainstay?

/ugly

NateRod 04-25-12 11:23 AM

Pondered whether to go with deep or box wheels, keep rocking the quill or go threadless, etc... for the GTB.

A decision has not been made yet.

TheRealFaux 04-25-12 11:47 AM

Ditch the weinmanns and get box section wheels. Stay threaded.
