Today I got a response from my alderman to a letter I sent about cycling safety in my ward. I'm feeling kinda geeked out about being involved in the betterment of my neighborhood, even if all I did was complain a bit. (Ok, a lot.) But I am hopeful that things will get better for cyclists around here.

Today I watched soccer at work (plants don't grow fast enough), watched more soccer at the gym, put a new seat on my janky SS MTB, then while testing it out saw this next to my place and stole the sqrls camera to shoot it.

Precisely. EighthInch Julians, Andels, Fyxation Rodeo Pursuit bars, Soma saddle, etc. He wanted something bombproof for everyday riding around Boston that he wouldn't have to worry about locking up occasionally.

Ha! Adding up all the parts at individual retail prices comes out to $922. As a complete bike, it sold for $785.

Today I snapped my chain while delivering (on road biek thank god). Whipped into the front derailleur and ****ed it up pretty bad. Now to start the slow move to Ultegra.

I know, dude...I'm so slack about the blog and stuff because I always have way too much else going on. We're seriously considering hiring someone just to do the blog and facebook page.
