Is the camel a big fan of Will too?

The admiring gaze is unmistakeable!

The *****en seatstay bridge obviously makes that Reynolds 520 frameset worth $550 ;)

Muffin Man 06-07-12 12:18 PM

Lol I hit my PM limit within an hour. Didn't even know they had a limit

Mumonkan 06-07-12 04:02 PM

Today i saw a walmart mtb wih a thomson setback seatpost rotated 180degrees the wrong way and the seat pointed at the front hub. Chained to a pole in the financial district of manhattan.

Its like a jackass goldmine out there

Bull****. Really? Which one?

Muffin Man 06-07-12 04:41 PM

The colored ones. I have no idea lol. They just had a rack with like 6-7 brightly colored bikes that had the giant logo on the seat tube. I was more interested in the free food samples that costco had that the bikes...

Edit: If you mean which location, It was the one in Mountain View

Totally was talking about the location.

If you have a chance, go to a costco in a rich ass area. Best free samples ever. Like, straight up slices of cheesecake and what not.

Answered your question eventually lol.

They had this awesome sandwich that they were making. It was something called "Pretzel bread", which was the size of a dinner roll, pesto, mozzarella, and a slice of turkey. So good.

Today I dropped my disliking of Maxxis and gave the disliking of them to continental. Reason the knobs are too small and are starting to tear off on me.

Scrodzilla 06-07-12 06:29 PM

Dude, you hate tires so much.

Dannihilator 06-07-12 06:36 PM

Any soft durometer tires I am not compatible with, am just hard on tires.

Today I:

Had a migraine start at work, then struggled through the rest of the workday. I would have bailed out early, but my new workstation came in and had to pick out the monitors to order for it.

I came home to find my new handlebar bag for the 520 waiting on the porch, so I installed it

Still have to sort out the racks and panniers, but it is working out well so far.

I remember some soft Michelin CX tires I had BITD. Tread gone in 200 miles. Pffft.

I had one of them green Michelin MTB tires that I destroyed in no time also.

No Michelin knobblies for me since 1997 or so.

Dannihilator 06-07-12 07:32 PM

Nice.

Michelin mtb tires used to last a decent amount of time for me until they went to the dual compound. After that I was lucky to get a week's worth of riding out of a set of them, usually the knobs started to rip off in one ride.

Mumonkan 06-07-12 08:51 PM

today i saw a pack of sw8 fixie kids riding around in my area

before i saw them up close i thought "hey, people to ride with!"

i got closer and saw an all white bike with super deep vs and reflectors on the rims, then a mcdonalds edition thruster with reflectors

got even closer and saw that they would all be lucky if they were 15

sigh..
