I seen a lugged version of the Livery i posted (900) for 400 on craigslist.
pass i asume, since i can't bring much up about this company, i never heard of it.
bothers me that there NO specs on it. rip off city!, but maybe I am wrong.

For the record, both Livery and Toyo are very reputable. If you had done a simple Google search:

Hai. I'm new.
So I was looking at Livery to get a frame (prior to this thread). All I could find is people on this forum saying they're probably pretty good, but definitely overpriced. Does anyone have any solid info on them? Any comparable frames? I don't see too many fillet brazed frames around (not this Toyo collab, but another frame on their site). I emailed them for specs/ geometry but am waiting to hear back.

so once again, simple question. is this https://www.liverydesigngruppe.com/pr...x-livery-track worth 900 dollars? and is it the same TOYO as Toyo Godzilla Frameset ?
Thanks for the link, but i found that too, and that's ALL i really could find out about Livery/Toyo
When you about to spend money on something, you want to make sure it's legit, that's all.
Here is some other info i found about livery
https://velospace.org/forums/discussi...lugged-frames/
"very is ****. buy something else, please.
the people that own livery are bro ******bags that started the company to make money off of the trend.
because of this, the bikes are not good quality, and pretty much 100% of their newer stuff is just a cheap direct copy of something else "
wouldn't that bother you a bit, if you were thinking about buying something?

Cryptic fact: a certain well-known frame ridden by a few SSFG members is made by Livery.

That bike is not worth $900 to me. I'm guessing the Kaisei 022 tubing variant they use is nothing special (especially since they didn't even bother to spell it correctly), and $900 is entering custom steel territory.

again, if you are looking to get a frame from this company, pull up a few google pages about metals they use, the welding they do on the frame, know what kind of geometry means what, and give them a call.
If they can't intelligently answer questions with information that lines up with the websites you have up, don't buy from them. If they answer questions, are helpful, they're speech is clear and understandable without gaudy amounts of slang, they can provide geometry, and everything seems good, at that point just decide if you want it bad enough for the price.
