Why? I'd say handlebars are a pretty vital contact point and having crappy bar tape sucks.

The dandy in me would suggested the most lurid, brightest cincelli tape you can get your hands on. There's just too much understated black on that bike, peacock it man, peacock it !!!

You missed a spot on your current wrap btw

Also, bit of an odd stem , bar and saddle set up , no ? Although it may suit you perfectly, it just looks a bit odd to my eyes, we dont have those Kilo thingys here.

Origin8 cork wrap from the LBS is cheap and looks good.. really though i would just get whatever the LBS has in the color you like, unless you want to get something fancy

Does anyone know of a bar tape that has a sort of suede/terry cloth texture to it? I always see it on tri-bikes at Performance. It isn't perforated and is usually white.

Some of the Microtex wraps are like this. I know at least the black tape has this texture

i use microtex mostly...the faux suede is nice. also excellent, and nice to look at, is that stitched stella azurra (eleganza)...lots of color choices.



of course, the ultimate is at handlebra
