SS Cyclocross Chicago

I was talking to Marcus at Yojimbo's yesterday and he mentioned that the Chicago Cyclocross Series is in progress. I was aware of the series peripherally, but what caught my attention is that for the first time, there is a SS category. I'm thinking about throwing on a freewheel and riding the final race on Dec. 5th. It is at Montrose Harbor and should be a great spectator event as well. Any of you Chicago guys currently doing the series, or would you be interested? Anyone raced ss cx and have suggestions for a good bike configuration? There is a website, but I'll have to find it later.

Oh man if I had known there were xc races in chicago I would've been there
for the whole series. I might have to pick up a freewheel. Now if only I could
find a bike shop in the wicker park area....

Dude - Rapid Transit. Upgrade. Boulevard.

Also, Scott (mech at Performance, races for XXX) told me about this a while ago when installing my new fork, it's the site for the XC.

Wouldn't "Glass", "Plato", or even "Hayes" be a better guess? But yeah, you got me.

True...but oh well. I found your site a long time ago and read it through and through and it just dawned on me that maybe you were the same person. Apparently so.

after posting that I realized you actually didn't make the seitan, it was nate, you were just eating it with him (last winter).

anyway, you mere presence (+/- beer) is enough to satisfy us all.
