Velomine Wheelsets

Velomine Wheelsets
I've been looking to replace my wheelset as soon as I got my bike. They are unbranded but heavy as sin and the bearings are cup + cone. They look like mock eighthinches.
Anyways, I'm on a budget and Velomine has been looking good to me lately. I've been looking for something to commute with that can handle a bit of abuse. I was excited to see that they had some Open Pros but they were all sold out before I could consider buying them.
I'm also concerned about the longevity of the formula hubs since I plan on having this bike for as long as possible for when I move out to San Francisco and use it as my main form of transportation in the City.
So far I've considered building a wheelset from Benscycle.com with Velocity Fusion Rims and Surly hubs which naturally ended up costing almost 300$
Now, I've broken down and have been looking at some Deep V's on Velomine for about 200$ which come with formula hubs. I figure they're still lighter and just as strong as these monsters I've got.
So question for those who have velomine wheelsets with formula hubs, how happy are you with what you got?
I will also consider any recommendations from any more experienced peeps out there.

There have been other threads on here recently that have raved about them, but I am very happy with what I got. I had thought about building my own, but velomine had priced mine low enough that I could buy the entire wheelset for cheaper than I could get the parts individually, not to mention my time and effort to build them.

Since you were considering Velocity Fusion rims, I'll suggest this: you can get IRO wheelsets for less than $200 shipped from the IRO site. The IRO rims are reportedly Velocity Fusions, and their hubs are of good quality. If you have a bit of patience and want to try it out, you can build a nice IRO Cold Fusion + IRO hub + double butted spokes wheelset for under $150.
I've had a good experience with Velomine. They have good prices and their wheels are built well. They might take some truing/tensioning after the first few hundred miles, but most wheelsets do anyways.

cool! I've actually wanted to build a wheelset so the IRO option is looking really good right now. I read a few threads about the coldfusions and apparently they're the same thing as velocity fusions like you say. My friend also told me that it comes in a Velocity box.
I Figured that it would obviously be cheaper to make my own but I didn't know it would be 150$ for double butted too since i was too much of a lazy ass to do the math.
Also, yeah I suppose my forum search for velomine wasn't comprehensive enough, my mistake.
