Cost-Effective Wheelset Build suggestions?
I've been playing around with the wheelset builder here:

I'm looking for a reasonably light, very durable wheelset. I'm a fit 190 lbs--I don't expect to much more weight to come off with more mileage. Ideally, I'd like 28 spokes front, 36 rear. Probably Tiagra hubs, as literally every mechanic I've talked to said they're by far the most cost-effective option. (With Tiagra hubs, I'll go 32/32, as I don't think they make 28 hole Tiagra hubs.) Rims are more of a questions mark. I was looking at the Alex R380's and DA28's.
Right now I'm running formula hubs with DA22 rims with 32 spokes. The rims have done very well, but I've broken three generic spokes in 9 months.

A possibility to cost-effectiveness may be to wait for a good sale of prebuilt wheels, such as when Performance offers Ultegra+Open Pro+DT for $200 or so a pair, and then get those machine-built wheels attended to. But that assumes you know how to give the wheels a once-over, or know someone who'll do it for free.
