A Good Wheelset

Hi guys,

So I got a new frame set and a couple other new parts for my fixie, and now I want to upgrade my wheelset (700c x 23)

Any suggestion? My budget is around 300-400.

I am looking for mainly light weight and durable.

I have no problem with custom building, just let me know what hubs, spokes, and rims~

Thanks guys.

P.S. Let me know if you guys are interested in seeing my bike at this moment.

We're not.

do you want prebuilt or will you be lacing them yourself?

I'd go h+son tb14 to formula/novatec hubs, 32h/3-cross with Sapim Race spokes and brass nipples.

or velocity a23s with the same.

Hey um, for the H plus son rims, Is it compatible with a front brake?

The sidewalls are machined and then the rims are anodized. So they'll brake nicely, but the finish will eventually wear off.

I just ordered some wheels through elegantwheels.net I'm psyched to see them and ride. He seems like a knowledgable guy who makes things of quality.
