Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Concerning 3T vs Thomson, I remember Scrod listing the weight of 3T as more than twice the weight of Thomson parts. Is there an explanation for that if my memory serves correct? (Usually doesn't)
I want thomson. And the masterpiece I had for a couple days was really freaking light.

This has nothing to do with what Calv asked.

Forged aluminum is heavier than billet machined extruded aluminum.

Is that the only difference? I'm almost sure that both are equal in quality, as Leuky said.

Probably not worth ****ing around with my seatpost and **** to match. Might as well get another X4.

Haha I'm more interested in how he did such a thing. Waiting on a response

Edit: haha Nevermind, read it wrong. He said someone got the head of a crank puller stuck and stripped all the threads completly. More of a pain to deal with

Should be fine if you never want to take that crank arm off again.

Should I buy another set of GR-10's to replace the pair that broke in half today?

I had a car pull out and block the bike lane on my way home yesterday I swerved to go around them and ended up catching the curb on the downstroke. Snapped the clip right off.

Hop? I'm not sure how that would have helped....hopping while parallel to something doesn't change it's relationship to where you are. Also, at 20mph hopping sounds like a horrible idea....

should i buy the matching 27" front wheel for the conversion, or get a new 700c wheelset? I bought the rear wheel while converting the peugeot a couple years ago with all intentions to replace the front but never got around to it...

Should I hop on the Chrome sale? Stock Cobra for $50 right now, pretty sure it'll be $40 tomorrow. And how do they fit? Measurements-wise it says I should get a small, but I haven't worn a Small since I was in high school.

My big thing is sizing. I don't want to end up having to pay a **** ton of extra money to ship it back and then have another size sent back to me.
