I have not tried Fizik saddles yet, the Romin has been so far the most tolerable saddle I've ever ridden. I'll be able to swap back if I want, but it's a big leap since Fizik saddles seem pretty expensive.
I only want to try because I feel that the flat Arione or Antares might be more comfortable.
Concerning 3T vs Thomson, I remember Scrod listing the weight of 3T as more than twice the weight of Thomson parts. Is there an explanation for that if my memory serves correct? (Usually doesn't)

Haha I'm more interested in how he did such a thing. Waiting on a response
Edit: haha Nevermind, read it wrong. He said someone got the head of a crank puller stuck and stripped all the threads completly. More of a pain to deal with

Hop? I'm not sure how that would have helped....hopping while parallel to something doesn't change it's relationship to where you are. Also, at 20mph hopping sounds like a horrible idea....

should i buy the matching 27" front wheel for the conversion, or get a new 700c wheelset? I bought the rear wheel while converting the peugeot a couple years ago with all intentions to replace the front but never got around to it...

Should I hop on the Chrome sale? Stock Cobra for $50 right now, pretty sure it'll be $40 tomorrow. And how do they fit? Measurements-wise it says I should get a small, but I haven't worn a Small since I was in high school.

I'm in the same boat as you, it looks really nice but don't know if I wanna wait and see if it's there tomorrow
