The "Should I..." Thread

That is way to big of a ratio for any type of riding...but to answer the meat of your question: a bigger ring and cog will make your chain last longer and put less friction on your drivechain.

Recently had to make the same decision and am really digging my Crank Brothers Multi 19.
They can be had on Amazon for real cheap.

Should I attempt to convince Angie not to build a set of white Velocity Fusions for her Vigorelli? As played out as white rims are in 2013, I can honestly see them looking really good.
When I said "White rims, really???", she responded by saying she knows how much of a faux pas they are but that it might be cool to pay homage to something that was once all the rage in a tasteful way - which I've got an understanding for. Also, Canadian women are extremely stubborn.

But Scrod, you are everywhere on this forum, thanks for the answer, as I live in Cambodia and do not have much internet time, I thought I would go right to the knowledge source.

Silver would be a nicer alternative. Maybe try to convince her to get something high polished?

This would be for a beater in the states when I get back in May until Aug.
And the Cambodian new market is way over priced Giants or used Japanese girls bikes with a few hybrids thrown in.

Should I pick this up? I've always entertained the idea of getting some rollers...

$30 bucks - could probably offer $20

It's not cheap, but I do have a crankset/bb and pedals that can be used. Would just need a suspension fork, wheels, and post, stem, saddle, deraillieur, shifter, chainguide, cassette.
