Shimano R540's, or Shimano 105's are solid and in that range, anyone with more experience with different pedals feel free to chime in.
Wait - Do you have 3-bolt shoes or MTB shoes? |
ive been nothing happy with 105s for road pedals

I got SPD stuff solely because of the walking around when you get there aspect. Now, I wish I did have something like 105s but I'm not gonna buy more shoes.
I've got these saved in my eBarf wish list: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271068686755...84.m1424.l2649 $40 isn't bad, has anybody tried these?? |
Yeah, so many SPD copies are garbage.
|
That's why I was asking.
I'll just order a pair of M785s. Thanks. |

Get 60mm thread less presta valve tube or Get 48mm threaded presta valve tube The 48mm ones come in 2 thickness's, should I get the .6mm or the .9mm? |
I always get the 60mm on my b43's.

Wait, those cost 3X as much as the M520s, and are not much better. I thought you were trying to save some greenbacks. U confoos me, man.
Something to offset the weight of the front brake.;) My bike fell off its diet with a taillight & bracket, heavy saddle & post along with the front brake. |
should i.... ditch my current wheelset:
28h/28h Miche primato hubs laced to an older version of mavic open pro cds (ceramic) and replace them with: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ti-grey-Velo...item3a81fc2d1f from Scrod and Angie? bike: black 2012 cinelli vigorelli *note: i'd also be replacing the stem and seatpost to match the wheelset... either silver thompson components or the grey anodized deda zero 100s. *edit: and probably the chainring and/or crankset too? what say you?? |
Should I look for a vintage Campy groupset for my Ciocc, or save up for a new 10 Speed Campy group and a new wheelset? Or should I just leave my Shimao 600 Ultegra set on? I am kinda torn. I want the vintage campy because style points, and 7 speeds and down tube shifters work well for me and what I am used to. But then new Campy is awesome as well. But awfully pricey. And then I would need to buy new wheels and coldset my frame and all of that stuff. Also, Japanese parts on an Italian frame isn't correct.

dafuq? |
Throwing a front brake on my kilo soon, it's rocking b43s at the moment so should I sell it for cash then build up a whole new wheel or should I just trade a friend for a machined deep v?
|
