Cool. What color are you considering?

Scrodzilla 02-22-12 05:16 PM

Either pink or purple. Leaning more toward pink.

homebrewk 02-22-12 05:49 PM

Agreed.

I see this turning into a large order soon....

How soon before they're on the site?

Scrodzilla 02-22-12 06:11 PM

I think we're going to try having them up sometime this weekend. If not, early next week.

cc700 02-22-12 08:13 PM

must... not... buy... another... bike...

should i sell my IRO/CXP22 while i work on funding my new expensive wheelset build? it's not like i don't have other bieks to ride until i get them built.

UCF Eric 02-22-12 08:43 PM

Sell them and use the money to offset the price of the new build?

Out of curiosity how much is one anyway? I see them on the EAI sight but the price is hidden from the gen. public.

Scrodzilla 02-23-12 11:50 AM

Msrp = $3989

Makes NJS look cheap.

Practically can get a full custom with that much and then some in matter of fact.

Scrodzilla 02-23-12 12:56 PM

Seriously. Most places selling them have them listed for higher than MSRP too.

Does anyone know of anything similar to Syntace Stratos 200s? I'm looking for a set of bullhorns with a slight drop and sweepback, and the Stratos 200 fit the bill perfectly, but I can't find them anywhere. I know iMiNUSD sells Stratos 400s (40mm drop rather than 20mm).

jasonnc80 02-23-12 01:50 PM

About the only thing similar I've found are the RB-002/001. The 200's have been discontinued for a while so the only really option is hoping to pick up a used set on ebay/cl

yummygooey 02-23-12 01:54 PM

RB002 ftw. Eff me for putting them in my quill stem. Now I'm too lazy to unwrap the bars to take them out and put them on the TET.

redpear 02-23-12 02:58 PM

I have to admit I'm not too fond of the 'horns pointing inward' thing.

Syntace stratos have it, and I know rb-002 have it though I've never tried them.

It makes climbing in the horns really wonky. My ideal bar:

-backsweep like rb-002 and syntace stratos
-drop like syntace stratos 400
-straight, parallel 'arms' and horns.
-no cable routing
-available in narrow width.
-available in black :D

Scrodzilla 02-23-12 03:02 PM

The swept in horns on RB-002s and similar bars actually put your hands and wrists in a more natural position than bars with straight horns.
