Bunch of should-i's:
Should I sell the used Dura-Ace 7710 crankset w/bb (got it for $200), profit, and get something cheaper (i.e. omniums) or just run them on my new Soma rush build?
Should I build up my Soma rush and then sell the Mark V or have it do duty as a singlespeeder?
Should I use the IRO wheelset on the Soma rush or get the Wabi wheelset (or something else)?
Should I get 28c or 25c Panaracer T-servs? I weight about 160lbs.

2) Would depend on my finances. I like the idea of having two bikes though, especially since the money made on a Mark V isn't all that much.
3) I'd get a new one. Again though, would come down to my funds.
4) 25s will be fine, but I love my 28s.

Should I sell my stock FTP fork and get a Leader fork? Negligible ($10) price difference.

No, I have a 700c fork.
I'm sticking with the Fuji fork for rake's sake.

The BB with those Sugino 75s is a 113 or a 115mm? I don't understand why someone would have bought either of these when the suggested Shimano BB is either a 107 or a 110. Buying a new BB for these cranks is a deal killer.
But I could probably buy them and make some money...

should I buy "mtn" style clips?
https://store.citygrounds.com/store/p...e-Clips-Black/
basically needed a thread to ask if they're just as effective as MKS toe clip

75's use the proprietary 109mm BB and it's expensive and buttery. you can use other jis taper BB's but it's designed around their BB

I thought 75's were ISO taper?
According to Sheldon Brown, an ISO crank on a JIS taper will sit ~4.5mm further out than if you were to use a ISO taper of the same length. So if I used a 113mm JIS tapered Shimano BB, the crank will sit a total of 6.5mm out?
4.5 + ([113-109]/2) = 6.5mm
Or are you not supposed to divide that second quantity by 2?

You're depriving yourself of the full sugino 75 experience... trust me I had the protype for a week before I gave it away to a cycling buddy for a legitimate 75 BB; smooth like butt'ha. I mean why compromise when you obviously didn't on the cranks? What floats your boat nonetheless.

Well I told the guy I was meh about the deal and he said he'd sell me the package for $65 so I went for it. Even if things end up sucking I can resell the crank arms in a jiffy.

I believe Sugino used to be JIS, but is now ISO. I use my 75s with a Campy bb.

Haha, thanks. I wasn't actually trying to get them for a lower price since I already felt like I lowballed him with my $80 bid, but he offered. Nice guy!
That might actually make sense. I pulled my last pair of Sugino 75s off of an early 2000s KHS Flite (back when they came stock on the Flite) and it came with a Shimano BB.
Interesting.
