My current leather ones are falling apart. Have you given thought to cutting scrod's deluxe ones? |
Been wanting a lock up bike for a while now and I have found a Pake Rum Runner the older ones with a 1" fork and a khs flite 100 for the exact same price which one should I get I know pake is an economy brand and flite 100 is just a kilo tt but which is better? I have no expierence with either company so I would really like to know.

My current leather ones are falling apart. after riding doubles for so long I made the switch to a single strap (brooks, too poor for double) and it just feels way less 'safe' for lack of a better word. the double makes me feel all warm and cozy, like my foot isn't going anywhere |
I totally see that, but I don't skid so it's kind of a moot point for me. Plus I don't care for the way doubles look.

that or an older Cannondale roadie http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...-53-24_608.jpg vs http://images.craigslist.org/5G85Kf5...4b236f10ca.jpg both are 56ish |

Serious question: how do you plan to convert the top one to fixed? Because other than a whole lot of hunting and pecking for the right ratio or an eccentric axle [and maybe a halflink] I'm out of ideas, and both of those are a pain in the ass for someone who didn't set them up.
"that or an older Cannondale roadie" |
well, he got a completely different bike now which can be converted in the future.

Should I sell my Kilo complete for $360?
It's just barely too big for me. But I like the bike. Hm, not sure... |

If I was a giant I would.
On another note, the TT height is SoOoOoO intimidating to look at. |

For future reference - should I get the Wabi wheelset (Jalco/sealed Joy Tech), or the Velomine Open Pro/sealed Formula?
