Formula/All-City/Miche Primato Hubs
hey all, i am building up a cheap commuter wheel and was wondering which hub would give you the most bang for my buck. i know the velocitys are used on almost everything stock nowadays, but i was wondering how they stand up to a relatively better hub like the all city track hubs or the miche primato track hub. thanks

I think all of them are relatively the same. But the formulas and Miche have more of a proven track record. The All City's look nice. But despite being the cheapest of the group, Formulas are actually pretty decent hubs. So unless you love the look of the All City's so much more, or the Miche, I would just go with formulas.

I agree that the Formulas are excellent. Just make sure you get the ones with the sealed cartridge bearings, and not the cheaper ones with the loose ball bearings. As for the All City hubs, I think they are made by Joy Tech, which is what Wabi uses and are also excellent.
