What rims are these?

Front wheel, machined. The whole rims is black so I don't think it is a Velocity since I've only seen them with the silver strip. The braking surface has grooves in it too.

rear wheel.

What rim is this?
It came on my bike when I bought it.
I don't see any type of branding. It has red rim tape though? That's all I got.

I hope someone can answer this and have the thread fade away...
I want to know for selling purposes!

Kinda, but I haven't seen the braking surface a solid color, it's always silver.

It does look like it could be a DP18. If it is, it'll have a very rounded (as opposed to sharp) edge where the sides meet at the nipples. It'll also be rather hefty.

Yeah, the wheels are pretty heavy. Maybe the company painted the braking surface black. Do you know if the braking surface has grooves in it? All the pictures I'm looking make the surface seem smooth?

The front is machined. The rear has a raised surface but it hasn't been machined. From what I can see in the pics, they are DP18s.

Yeah, the rear isn't machined. Just the front wheel but it's black and not silver like the DP18 I've seen online.

Well, I'll go with DP18's it seems unanimous and just assume the company painted the surface or Weinmann does make rims with a black surface.

Thanks guys.

I'm kind of confused at what you're saying. Here's a set that looks like what you have:

Bikes: Custom frame

Those are just some cheap track wheels, Im confused also. Millions of wheels are deep profile with a braking surface. do a little research, Look through some bike porn and members bikes to get some wheels in mind.

lol. My bad for confusing you.

On the front wheel in the link, the front wheel has a silver braking surface. It's clearly two different "colors."

Mine is black. The whole wheel including the breaking surface. There's no silver outline on my front wheel. ALL BLACK...EVERYTHING.

My intentions for this thread was simply getting a fair price to sell them for.
What would be a fair price for my wheelset with tires, tubes and a flip-flop hub with cogs and lockring? With less than 50 miles?

Just say they're "custom" for maximum profit.

I gotcha. In the picture it looks silver (to me). I would say you'd be doing pretty good for $75 if they're just generic hubs to generic rims. I sold my barely used DP18s for $115 and I thought that was amazing (considering you can buy a new set for $125).

They don't look like DP-18s to me. The braking area on mine is kind of stepped out, there's no groove.

Rims are still unknown, & ^^^^The frame is an IRO. These wheels don't appear to be from them, they too have a "silver" brake strip.

How random to see this thread again it was supposed to fade awwaaayyy.
