pretty sweet. wonder where they got those hubs and spokes from - broken ellipses? its weird how they have nine of them.
also, im not too great with wheelbuilding. can these be laced to standard 20h rims?

If you can find out the Ellipse's ERD (effective rim diameter) then you could buy a rim with the same ERD and lace them up.
ERD of various rims with 30mm depth:
Veeps - 582
Weinmann DP18 - 581
Rigida DP18 - 581
KinLin XRP-300 - 577
IRD Cadence Aero - 576
Mavic CXP30 - 587
DT Swiss RR 585 - 582
Alex SUB - 579.6
Alex G6000 - 580.3

Still sketchy, though.
Especially with the straight-pull spokes. Could be a legit Mavic producer getting rid of factory seconds.
Could be a knock off, which might work for a quick minute. But, with straight-pull, low-spoke count, it would be a quick minute before a taco party.
