Advice on wheels and freewheels.

Hi guys,

I don't know much about about bikes, so bare with me.

I want to buy new front and rear wheels but I have no idea what's 'good' or how much they should be.

I'm not looking for anything fancy, I just want it to be all black (the spokes as well as the rim itself).

I also want to buy a new freewheel because mine is getting cranky and making a lot of noise and has gotten louder in the past week

Any advice would be good, thanks!

My girlfriend's single speed uses a shimano freewheel, they are fairly quiet.

As for wheels, it really depends on your budget and your style of riding, Retrogression sells affordable wheels: https://www.retro-gression.com/

Thanks guys. Any UK website? I'm from London, England. I found some on eBay, but it's still coming from the States, so p+p is costing me a fortune

It's my assumption that Retrogression ships internationally.

Well that's that. I would try to find a UK ebay dealer then.

That's a very expensive website, lol! I appreciate all the help guys, but my budget isn't massive! I'd say about £80-100 for the wheelset.

Velodrome shop is mostly a really high end track site, but it has a set of nice wheels for 65 pounds and a really nice set for 81.
