Dummy brake... Other uses?
I just set up the Prez with road bars, and I am wondering... Anybody come up with a cleaver use for the dummy brake?

After watching that video of the people on bikes dumping paint onto the intersection (to make cars "paint"), I've thought it would be very interesting to rig up a canister of colored chalk near the rear wheel. Brake lever could open the canister releasing a bit of chalk and painting a path behind you.
Another option would be a rear brakelight. Ideally something with a push/pull style activation so you don't have to really wire anything.

YOu could also hook up both levers to the same brake. Not sure how well it will work or feel, but it is worth a shot.
wtf are you smoking? The chainring should spin when the cranks aren't

Maybe. But, I've seen cloth tape wrapped from the bottom up then finished off with twine for about 1.5-2cm then knotted.

Obviously paint would be a bit too destructive. I'm thinking more along the lines of a 2liter full of that chalk they use to paint lines, with the intent of using your own tire rather than others.
