Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I agree its a bad shot. I haven't quite figured out what the shot is going to look like. I enjoy the viewpoint, but it isn't ideal. I think I might try to make my own chest mount in the future.

Am I the only one who liked the handlebar mouth? I enjoyed seeing the tire, and thought the brakes added something. It had the best views, and if you sped a ride up and put it to music it might work.

I rode about 10 miles with 20 different shots... there are a few interesting ones, but my gopro clamp doesn't fit around 31.8... I can squeeze it around the stem, which makes for a good shot. I'll try and get around to uploading the good ones today.

Thanks for the post Otaillon, looks great. What bars are those?

They look good to me. Your legs get in the way a bit when attached to the seatpost and the dog video is a bit shaky but those are the only issues.

I have a cheap HD keychain camera that I tried out on my bike once. I used a helmet mount, a handlebar mount, a rear facing seatpost mount and a front fork mount. The video is boring because I was just cruising around my area but you get an idea of what the different positions would look like. My favorite one is the fork mount. The video quality looks much better on my computer. If anybody knows why the quality was murdered by youtube I'd appreciate it because the uploaded version sucks

I was thinking of getting myself a Contour HD for next years racing season. I like the features of the cameras and they have a barebones version coming out this month for just over $200. Plus you don't look like a teletubby when it's mounted to a helmet.
