brooks b33 saddle

I'm thinking of buying a brooks b33 saddle for my ss bike. I have only seen pictures of the seat in catalogues.

the question I have is.
1 would this be a good seat to put on a ss bike, or is this saddle made more for hybrid style bikes. I really like the build and looks of the saddle, I just don't want to make a ill purchase.

any help would be great.

The only deciding factor you need to determine whether or not a B33 will be good on your bike can be found between your lower back and legs.

It doesn't really get more simple than this. I like the look of Brooks Saddles and many people ride with them on their SSFG bikes too. Don't worry, it's not a crime to have a Brooks on a SS. It gives you street cred.

two things about the brooks (at least the b-17, not certain about the b-33) their rails are short, and they ride better tilted up ever-so-slightly.

I would consider a Brooks Flyer over that one. The B33 will destroy your seatpost options, if that matters to you.

You can probably use a Seat Sandwich, or two...
