Got a twelve of Alaskan Amber ale. Still fiending for some Red Stripe, but it wasn't on sale and the Alaskan was on the shelf next to it so it had to taste the same right? Right? Wrong. It's pretty good, but it's sweet for a beer.

I had that same swelly-throat thing most of the week. My prescription was to ride my bike a lot (about 80 miles this week) and keep drinking beer. Ok, and to drink a few glasses of OJ and some extra water.

I'm working on the same 12 pack of Saranac. Having a mid-afternoon Vanilla Stout right now. I can just TASTE the calories in it!

Yesterday I tried an amber ale that I brewed, only been in the bottle two weeks so it's a little too green and needs more time in the bottle.

Last week I got an urge to drink cheap beer so I picked up a 12 pack of this:
