Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

it's almost like drinking a whole tube of dark chocolate chip cookie dough... but with booze.

If you find a bottle for sale it's going to be from a flipper and you'll pay too much. Grab a bottle of Black Maple Hill or any number of excellent bourbons that are actually available.

I suddenly have the urge for some bourbon, i'll have to look out for Black Maple Hill.

Any other suggestions?

I could rattle off a list any length you want, but I don't really need to. It really depends on the stock of your local shops. 10 years ago you would only find a dozen bourbons outside of Louisville, but that has changed (good for you, not so great for us). Just pick up something you haven't had before; I can't imagine you would be disappointed. As you know, to be bourbon it has to meet particular requirements and because of this, if it says "bourbon" on the bottle it'll be good to you.

Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye. SO good! Love the spicy rye character with the smack of hops...such a wonderful combo.

I might brew it sometime, BYO has a clone recipe

Had this the night before. One of the best lagers I've had. Very flavorful but light without tasting watered down in the slightest! I can see myself throwing back a bit too many, haha. If you're looking for an flavorful easy-drinking lager, this is awesome.

Currently drinking this at the moment again. So good.

I'm partial to Rickard's Red (check out my last name, LOL) but also Grasshopper and my local pub's Black & Tan (don't know the makeup but 1/2 pint dark beer and then topped off with about 1/2 pint of a medium coloured beer over a flat spoon to keep the colours and beers from mixing). Oh, here's an explanation.
