Haven't been on here in a while so hadn't even thought about that!

But maybe something a little more useful, I've been trying to get my new bike together (carbon fork) and seem to be running into some issues with the expander/compression top cap. Any experience with them? I see a lot of people using star nuts glued in place in the fork tube, but this is the first time I've used one so I'm fairly clueless.

You never want to use a starnut if your fork has a carbon steerer. What headset are you using?

So as someone suggested, would these work with the origin8 bullhorns 26? I saw the id on the lever is 19-21 can't find anything on the bars. Same with the fsa's.

i just happen to be holding a set of naked 26mm origin8 bullhorns in my hands that i am about to put on in place of my rb-002s. i am sure everybody will think i am crazy & i really wanted to like the nittos, but they are just too short.

anyway, be careful hj.paul7...

using an admittedly low-rent analog micrometer i just got 16mm for inside diameter of the o8s

I could not get the RX4.1 into the ends of my origin8 bars with the tightener. I had used them with my vision alloy bars for a while but without using the tightener at all, just twisting it in. If anyone wants mine pm me, but they are a little scratched up and no longer have the front caps. I basically decided I prefer cross-levers.

Hey Scrod, did your red veloplugs fit supertight on your rims? I'm having trouble hand fitting them on my Mavic Open Pros. They are just too big for the holes it seems. Should I cut a v slit on the sides of the veloplugs to get them to fit in?

Red Veloplugs are for most rims with no eyelets. However, the yellow ones - made for rims with eyelets - are bigger, so...

I've never had any trouble using them, but I've never put them on Mavics.

It's an integrated headset. I ended up changing a few things around today to check fitment and whatnot, and I believe I solved the issue that I was having.

Top cap from a 36x45, on the 45x45. Wasn't thinking it would cause any issue, but once I changed it everything seemed to sort itself out.

Thoughts on these? First saddle, not trying to go too classy. They sell these at my local bike shop.

Advice on every saddle ever: try it out, you may like it. no one knows. no one else has your butt(more specifically, your sit bones).

That's a BS saddle they put on stock bikes meant to be taken off asap. I rode on one, taken off a bike at the LBS, for a while when I didn't want to cough up the cash for a better saddle. I don't know how I went so long on that thing

Is the EAI Toyo Gojira worth it's price? Or are there better deals (w/ same geo and general quality) laying around?

In my opinion, the Godzilla is a top notch, no frills handmade track frame made of nice steel and is priced accordingly.

Scrod,

How can I get along with my sister better? We constantly fight and bicker; it seems to never end. I keep trying to stop and ignore her but she always pisses me off and I snap. What should I do?
